The sailor beanie is worked in 3 steps, making of the crown as a flat circle from there you decide the width of your beanie, you later work in rounds to shape the beanie, last the making of the brim and giving the final shape. A fun hat to make and wear.

For different sizes of the beanie, you add or minus the number of rounds initially when making the flat circle and the same number you add/ minus when working in rounds.

Ch 2
Round1: 6 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, join with a sl st.
Round 2: ch1, 2 sc in every st. Join. (12 sts)
Round 3: ch1, 2 sc in 1st st, 1 sc in next st. Alternate ( 2 sc in next st, 1sc in following st), join. ( 18 sts).
Round 4: ch1, 2 sc in 1st st, 1 sc in next 2 sts. Alternate ( 2 sc in next st, 1sc in following 2 sts), join. ( 24 sts).
Round 5: ch1, 2 sc in 1st st, 1 sc in next 3 sts. Alternate ( 2 sc in next st, 1sc in following 3 sts), join. ( 30 sts).
