This is another version of the fisherman beanie which gives a texture and a more sophisticated look to the classic beanie, the moss stitch/ linen stitch gives it kind of a classy fancy look.

1 Medium worsted yarn (red heart super saver)

Crochet hook: 5.5 mm

Ch2, 

Round 1: sc, ch1 ,5 times in the 2nd ch from the hook, join.

Round 2: ch1, *(sc,ch1,sc, ch1) all in the previous ch 1 sp throughout the round, join

Round 3: ch1, *(sc,ch1) in all the previous ch 1 sps throughout the round, join

Round 4: * ch1, ( sc, ch1, sc) all in the previous ch1 sp, (ch1, sc) in the next sp, repeat from the * till the end of the round.

Round 5: ch1, *(sc,ch1) in all the previous ch 1 sps throughout the round, join
