Introduction
One of the very easy crochet patterns you can make in less than an hour is the mesh headband using the beautiful V stitch, you start with a strap, work the body and close with another strap. Very easy pattern.
Measurements/ Gauge
Without straps:
49/8 cm
10 cm: 10 sts/5 rows
Materials
Medium worsted yarn (1ball) less
Abbreviations
ch: chain
st: stitch
stitches: stitches
dc: double crochet
sl st: slip stitch
V: dc, ch1, dc
Sp: space
Ch1 sp: previous v st.
Written Pattern
Ch30,
Sl st back into the beginning of the ch.
Row1: from the last sl st, ch4, 2dc, ch1, dc. Turn.
Row 2: ch4, 2dc , ch1, dc sts inside the previous v st (ch1sp), v st in every ch1 sp. Turn.
Row 3 : repeat row 2.
Row 4 to 23: ch4, dc in the ch1 sp, v st in every ch 1 sp. Turn
Row 24: Ch3, sk the 1st v st, v st in the next ch1 sp and every ch1 sp.
Row 25, 26: repeat row 24
Row 27: ch 3, dc in the last st.
From the last row, ch 30, sl st back and fasten off.
