Measurements/ Gauge

Circle diameter: 17 cm

Forehead: 30 cm

Materials

Medium worsted yarn (4) acrylic 1 ball brown.

Crochet hook: 5.5 mm 

Abbreviations

ch: chain

st: stitch

stitches: stitches

dc: double crochet

sc: single crochet

hdc: half double crochet

sl st: slip stitch

2hdctog: 2 half double crochet together, yarn over, insert hook into stitch, pull through, yarn over insert hook into 2nd stitch, pull through, pull through all.

Note

For small size work flat circle till round 7, for large till round 9.

Decreasing in the 2nd part for any size, check the last number of the shaping round ( working in the 2nd loop) for ex ( 90 sts- 4 sts for the decrease (2hdctog)) you'll find how many sts you need to count till your next decrease, the count includes the decreased st. For medium size is already calculated in the pattern.

Written Pattern

1st part, flat circle 

ch3

Round 1: 10 hdc in the 3rd ch from the hook, join with a sl st to the 1st ch.

Round 2: ch1, 2 hdc in every st, join to the ch1 with a sl st.

round 3: ch1, *2 hdc in the 1st st, 1 hdc in the next st**. Repeat from * to **. join with a sl st to the ch1.

Round 4: ch1, *2 hdc in the 1st st, 1 hdc in the next 2 st**. Repeat from * to **. join with a sl st to the ch1.

Round 5: ch1, *2 hdc in the 1st st, 1 hdc in the next 3 st**. Repeat from * to **. join with a sl st to the ch1.

For medium size continue to round 6

Round 6: ch1, *2 hdc in the 1st st, 1 hdc in the next 4 st**. Repeat from * to **. join with a sl st to the ch1.

For large size continue to round 7
