Materials

Medium worsted yarn (4) half skein

Crochet hook: 5.5 mm 

Abbreviations

ch: chain

st: stitch

sts: stitches

dc: double crochet

sc: single crochet

hdc: half double crochet

sl st: slip stitch

Sk: skip

Note

At the end of each row, the last st is a small one that needs to be worked as well, if you skip it the work will be triangular.

Written Pattern

Ch 101

Row 1: hdc in 3rd ch from the hook, hdc in every st.

Row 2: ch1, hdc in every st.

Row 3 to 5: repeat row 2.

Row 6: ch1, hdc in the next 20 sts, ch10, sk 10, hdc in the following st, hdc in every st.

Row 7: cha 1, hdc in every st 

and every ch.

Row 8 to 10: repeat row 2.
