Bobble stitch bucket hat crochet pattern 

This bucket hat is unique, pretty and ideal for cold winters as the bobble stitch gives thickness texture and style, it is worked in round from top to bottom and worked as a flat circle alternating the rounds with 1 single crochet round followed by the bobble stitch and once you get the required size, it is shaped into a beanie first and then into a bucket hat due to the brim.  Materials 

Medium worsted yarn (4) 

1 yarn ball berry

crochet hook: 5.5 mm

Note

The pattern is made for medium size . For smaller size, reduce the crown to round 7. For larger size increase to round 10: 2 sc in 1st st, 1 sc in next 3 sts, repeat.

Abbreviations 

Ch: chain 

St: stitch 

Sl st: slip stitch

 sc: single crochet 

Bobble stitch: yarn over, insert the hook in the next st, pull through once and again twice, yarn over again and repeat the previous step in the same st, you repeat the same process total of 5 times, you must obtain 6 loops on your hook and you pull through all. 

Written Pattern 

Ch2

 Row 1: ch1,6 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, join. 

Row 2: ch1, 2 sc in every st. join.

 Row 3: ch1, yo, insert hook into the first st, pull through, pull through 2, repeat total 5 times, you should have 6 loops in your hook, pull through all loops, sc in the next st, repeat the same process throughout the round, join at the end. 

Row 4: ch1, 2 sc in every st. join.

Row 5: repeat row 3

 Row 6: ch1,2 sc in the first st, 1 sc in the next st, repeat, join at the end. 

Row 7: repeat row 3. 

Row 8: ch1,2 sc in the first st, 1 sc in the next 2 st, repeat, join at the end. 

Row 9: repeat row 3 

Row 10- 12-14-16-18-20-22: ch1, sc in every stitch.

 Row 11-13-15-17-19-21-23: repeat row 3.
